2024 ADVENT STUDY

We will once again hold an Advent Study using Rev. Rachel Billups’ book An Unlikely Advent: Extraordinary People of the Christmas Story. This four-week Advent study focuses on the experiences of four sets of often overlooked characters in the Nativity story. Readers are guided through the themes of hope, love, joy, and peace by sharing the stories of Elizabeth and Zechariah, Herod, the Magi, and the shepherds. Each set of unexpected characters has something to teach about living faithfully on the journey to Christmas.

Our study begins on Monday, December 2. We will meet at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM in the Church Parlor. Sign up for the class beginning on Sunday, November 17. Books can be picked up then. They cost $14.00. Please read chapter one before the study begins.
