TACO TRUCK TUESDAY
The next Taco Truck Tuesday is set for Tuesday, October 7!
Come join in the fun and food as we eat tacos, bounce in the bounce house, and fellowship with the families of our Children's Center.
The fun begins at 5:00 PM!
HYGIENE PRODUCTS
We encourage everyone to bring hygiene products for the Long Beach Rescue Mission to the church on or before Sunday, October 19.
Items needed include:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Hand and body lotion
Feminine Products
Q-tips
BIBLE SUNDAY
We have two third graders who are eligible to receive Bibles this year! Come to worship on Sunday, October 19 as we celebrate with our third graders and their families this milestone in their lives.
Rev Scott is asking everyone to bring their own Bible to worship on Sunday, October 19 as a way of showing our support to these young people. It can be the Bible you received as a child or the one you use currently.
CHUMC FUND RAISER
Visit Domenico's Italian Restaurant to help raise funds for Cal Heights UMC. This event runs from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 21.
You must bring one of the flyers to the left for 25% of the value of your meal to be gifted to Cal Heights.
EVERYONE'S INN AT CAL HEIGHTS
Beginning on Wednesday, October 22, Everyone's Inn will be coming to Cal Heights UMC. Everyone's Inn is a wonderful mid week, weekly meal, worship, fellowship, and learning experience. It has been a program offered by Being the Church and has rotated between Los Altos UMC and Belmont Heights UMC. And now it is coming to Cal Heights UMC!
Everyone involved in volunteering must go or has gone through the Ministry Safe screening process.

Los Altos UMC
Greetings on behalf of Church World Service and “CROP”! The 50th Annual Long Beach CROP Hunger Walk is looking for walkers and sponsors.
Registration begins at 1:30 PM and the 5K/31 mile walk begins at 2:30 PM all from the Los Altos UMC preschool patio. Volunteers are needed that day for registration and other things. People are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Cal State Long Beach “Beach Pantry” this year.
