The Children’s Center will be open for 9 weeks of summer fun!   Our summer program is from June 17 (Mon) - August 15 (Thu)  and is divided into three sessions.  We will be closed on July 4th, July 5th, and August 19-27th.

Summer Program Information

Preschool Program

  • The Preschool Program is for children ages 2 through 5, and who have not yet completed Kindergarten. 

School Age Program

  • The School-Age Program is for children ages 6 and up who have completed Kindergarten.
  • Please Note - Children finishing Transitional Kindergarten may participate in field trips depending on maturity level.
  • Students must register for the grade level completed during the 2018-2019 school year.
  • Music Program - We offer a preschool music program in the summer.  There is a one-time mandatory material fee of $30 for the program.

New Students

  • Children not currently enrolled in the 2018-2019 school year must complete a registration packet and pay a $25 summer registration fee. There are no summer registration fees for current students.

School Age Field Trips

  • Field trips are part of the school-age program. 
  • Students will be scheduled to go on field trips on specific days. The maximum number of students per field trip is 19 (without shuttling). Since we have a large enrollment of school-age children in the summer, we have assigned 2 days for each field trip. Your child will be assigned one of the days. 
  • Field trips are based on ratios. If we do not have enough students for the 2nd field trip, then it will be cancelled. 
  • Check the calendar for dates and fees. Field trip fees must be paid with tuition and are non-refundable. 
  • Every child must have a signed permission slip with emergency contact information for each field trip and must wear their school t-shirt. If your child comes to school on a field trip day without their Cal Heights t-shirt, a $10 fee will be charged for a new school shirt.

Absences and Vacations

  • Vacation discounts are for full weeks (M-F) only and are deducted from the tuition prior to the beginning of each session. 
  • There will be no deductions in tuition for any absences other than prearranged vacation weeks. All cancellations must done a week before the new session starts.

Tuition and Special Fees

  • Tuition is paid per session and is due on or before the first day of each session. Field trip fees must be added to the tuition. There are no sibling discounts for summer
  • Booked events may be subject to change due to external factors that are out of our control.
  • Summer Registration Fee - One $25 fee is charged for new students.  There are no summer registration fees for current students.
