Frequently Asked Questions
1. When are Rehearsals?
Fridays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 pm.
2. Are we (parents and children) required to attend the Parent Meeting on September 9th 10:00 am to 2:30 pm?
Yes. We ask that parents remain the whole time. The Parent Meeting is when full registration, auditions, expectations are presented and when any questions are answered.
3. When is the show?
We will have four performances: Friday, November 10th at 7:00pm, Saturday November 11th at 2:00 p.m., and 5:00pm, and Sunday, November 12th at 3:00 p.m.
4. When does my child have to be at the church for the show?
The call time is one hour prior to the show. (Friday 6:00 pm, Saturday 1:00pm and 5:00 pm, Sunday 2:00pm)
5. What is “Paint Day” ?
Paint day will be Sunday, October 8h from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a day that parents and their children work together to help paint and create the set. You are invited to our service that morning at 10:00 am. Lunch will be served after the service (at 11:00am) and then we will paint the set. If you are not attending the service please arrive by 11:00 am for Paint Day.
6. What is “Tech Week” and when is it?
Tech week is the week prior to rehearsal. Children will practice the play with lights, sound, and costume changes.
All-Call Sunday, November 5th, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Monday November 6th, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Tuesday November 7th, NO REHEARSAL
Wednesday November 8th, 5:00 pm to 8:00pm
Thursday November 9th, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
7. What does my child need to wear for the show?
Typical staples to have are comfortable black shoes and some kind of bike shorts and tank top that they can wear under their costume in order to facilitate costume changes. Specific costume needs will be announced after roles have been cast.
8. Will my child have music to practice with?
Yes, we will hand out CDs during the September 9th Parent Meeting.
